面屋店 x 滿 — Mural on Flat in a Lantern
Rendered entirely by hand, this second collaboration piece transforms one of EXTRA NOODLES’ most recognizable symbols , the signature lantern,  into a contemporary reflection of Singaporean identity.
Inspired by Esther’s perspective within the EXTRA NOODLES studio, Esther was staring at the EXTRA NOODLES lantern in the studio, the one that's always been there, part of the brand, when she saw something no one else had. The horizontal lines of the lantern weren't just paper folds. They were floors. Corridors. The unmistakable grid of an HDB block,  the lantern’s layered lines were reimagined as the repetitive architecture of Singapore’s HDB flats, turning a traditional cultural object into an urban landscape. This fusion bridges heritage and everyday life, symbolising how tradition continues to exist within the structure of modern Singapore.
E.NUF’s phoenix extends beyond the boundaries of the flat-lined lantern, emerging powerfully from within and bringing movement, vitality, and cultural spirit to the piece. It’s both confined to mural walls of the HDB flat and outside of the lantern flat, the phoenix becomes alive in outside of the painting, representing resilience, transformation, and the enduring presence of cultural legacy in contemporary spaces.
The back design features EXTRA NOODLES’ signature 面屋店 branding alongside E.NUF’s 满 Chinese branding, forming a one-of-a-kind collaboration logo that reflects both brands’ shared Asian cultural DNA.
The design is completed with Eunice’s signature Chinese stamp, 滿, integrated in the visual language of EXTRA NOODLES’ iconic Sabi Calligraphy series. This final detail unites both artistic identities seamlessly, creating a piece that feels deeply collaborative while preserving each creator’s voice.
Mural on Flat in a Lantern stands as a bold dialogue between streetwear, muralism, and Singapore’s cultural architecture, where handcrafted imperfection, heritage symbolism, and modern urban living coexist as one.
